Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake

Ingredients
Crust
2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
6 tbsp butter, melted
Cheesecake Filling
24 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup sour cream
8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted and cooled
Turtle Layer
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup caramel sauce
1 cup chocolate chips
Topping
Extra caramel sauce
Melted chocolate for drizzling
Whole or chopped pecans
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Mix chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter.
Press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
Bake for 10 minutes and let cool.
2. Make the Filling
Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
Add eggs one at a time.
Mix in vanilla and sour cream.
Fold in melted chocolate until fully combined.
3. Assemble
Sprinkle chopped pecans over the crust.
Drizzle caramel sauce over pecans.
Pour cheesecake filling into the pan.
Sprinkle chocolate chips across the top.
4. Bake
Bake 55–65 minutes, until center is slightly jiggly.
Turn oven off and crack the door open for 1 hour.
Refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.
5. Decorate

Top with caramel drizzle, melted chocolate, and pecans before serving.
